the Death penalty

SO ITS TIME FOR ANOTHER PAPER...HMMM...SOUNDS LIKE FUN...NOT!!! I THINK THIS ONE IS MORE LIKE GIVE YOUR OPINION AND DO RESEARCH TO BACK IT UP. MAYBE NOT. I ALWAYS TEND TO GET CONFUSED ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. AS OF RIGHT NOW IM GOING TO WRITE ABOUT THE DEATH PENALTY AND CORETTA SCOTT KING'S ESSAY. THE POINT IM GOING TO TRY AND ARGUE IS THAT THE DEATH PENALTY REFLECTS THE ASSUMPTION THAT THE WRONG DOER IS BEYOND REHABILITATION. I GUESS IT REALLY DEPENDS ON WHAT I CAN FIND MORE RESEARCH ON. IF THATS NOT WHA I WILL ARGUE THAN IT WILL BE THE FACT THE EVIL IS NOT REDEEMED BY EVIL. I AM AGAINST THE DEATH PENALY IN SO MANY WAYS FOR SO MANY REASONS SO I THOUGHT SOEMTHING I FELT SO STRONGLY ABOUT WOULD BE SO EASY TO WRITE ABOUT. IM PRETTY SURE HOW I FELT WAS EXPRESSED IN CLASS SO I DONT HAVE TO BLOG ABOUT BUT I KNOW FOR A FACT IT WILL DEFIANTLY BE EXPRESSED IN MY PAPER. I JUST REALIZED HOW MUCH I TALK AND EXPRESS MYSELF IN CLASS...MAYBE TOO MUCH. i GUESS IM JUST USED TO THAT KINF OF CLASSROOM VIBE

Meds for Infants.

I think its bazzar that there are medication that can be givin to infants besides tylenol and motrin but yet they refuse to prescribe them. Why is this?? My daughter just turned 6 months about 2 weeks ago...and she has the flu. For people who dont know how bad the flu can be for infants...do research. Her fever in the past week and a half has reached 105.3...and what did they tell me to do about it...give her motrin and keep her hydrated with pedilite. Motrin and tylenol does not cure everydamn thing and London thinks pedilite is the most disgusting thing ever and she refuses to drink it. I took her to the docotr 3 times before they thought to test her for the flu in the first place. Its the hardest thing returnin home from school to spend to time with my daugher like i do daily and as soon as i go to touch her she starts crin because shes in so much pain. i could transfer doctors...but would things even change??

To BE OR NOT TO BE

The question at hand is should UNCW have a football team.
My opinion is yes!! When you think about it...theres not too many schools without one. Yes there are some but at a minority. Money shouldnt be an issue because football is most defiantly smart on the economic side. With all the asjustments being made to the school right now...that money would come in handy. Wilmington is a football based city. The high school teams are great. I see it as if the basketball can make sooooo much money and their record is 4-45.lol. Then just imagine what kind of "dough" uncw will be rollin in. And the undergraduate applications will skyrocket due to more activites to participate in. Who wants to go to a school where theres not really that much school spirit. Look at ecu...pirates this...purple and gold that. Lets put those seahawks in the news!!

Ugh!!

Im trying sooo hard to be productive doing spring break while i am in atlanta visting my dad. I've brought everything along to work on the 3 papers that i have due when i return. I hve a major issue. I cant find bamboozled the movie. Do you know what that means....i hve no clue what to write about. Im stuck. I hve this whole thing where i have the need to be orginial. Geez originality is NOT WOKING!!!
I dont know what to do. Ive watched like 4 movies today and the only one i've watched even close to topic...is the devil wears prada. But what other media can i compare and contrast that to?? of course...i have no IDEA. i need a sign..hell i need a clue. ive searched the net...ive watched tv. ive heard music....still...nothing. im sooo frustrated. Signing off......

sooo....were suppose to blog our outline for our second paper. When it comes to outlining apparently i was taught the wtong way. I need clarification on how to outline. My last outline i was told was too organized. Thats the only way i know how. Sooo...im waiting til after class today before finishing this blog.

Bamboozled Vs Self Destruction

Bamboozled vs The song Self Destruction by KRS-1 and other various artist. Bamboozled showed how the media influences the overall perception of blacks in america by using sterotypical images. They painted their faces black and it compares to scarfs flags tattoos and sagging pants that producers and writers consistantly attach to the black male characters in the media. The song self destruciton is about the negative sterotypes that hip-hop had started recieving. The media were labeling hip hop as a whole as a negative influence on the american soceity and youth. They were blaming the increased violence, crime, and promiscuity. These artist were saying that if we keep following these negative sterotypes than we will end up destroying the foundation that our four fathers faught to build. Foundation as in black people are equal and add not take away from the melting pot. I haven't really figured out how they can be contrasted yet but i am working on it. Well....my new apartment doesn't allow satellite in which i had to get because my old one didnt allow cable. So right now tv at the crib is out of commission. My computer has also crashed so i guess you can say im having a bad week. This assignment was for Thursday i think but i guess its better late than never if acceptable. Anyways...Im at a family members house watching Road Rampage 2. This show is sooo crazy. Nothin i would normally watch while home though. This guy just stole a Greyhound. How dumb is that?? This other guy just escaped from jail, serving a 5 year sentence for burglary, and is taking the police on a tri-county road chase...on a 4-WHEELER.lol. Seriously though...3 counties...atv vs police car...They are not on their job. lol. The police hit him throwing him over a guard rail. After being treated for some minor scratches, hes back in jail serving an extra 15 years for felony escaping. Omg!!! 2 fire truck, weighing about 25 tons a piece, racing to the same scene just hit each other.....throwing one of the fire truck down the street flipping continuously No one was hurt though. I wonder where things like this happen because i never see things like this in Wilmington, NC. As shocking as this show is....i wish they would turn the channel...lifetime...lmn...something!!!Ugh!!
